“Holy Shit!” is Now Available

"Holy Shit!" It's finally here! The day has finally arrived. Completing a trail ultramarathon is the metaphor that feels most apt for the arrival of "Holy Shit" - my first ever book - to the public sphere. (I'm imagining it is, anyway, because I've never done one). Finishing an ultramarathon often happens in the dead of the night without fanfare, limping or crawling across the finish line at 2:32am with one member of your support crew and the race official as the the only witnesses, but you know the depth of the accomplishment, you know the cost and struggles, you know the profound satisfaction of the uncelebrated milestone.

Writing this book has been a labor of hope, love, and perseverance, as well as incredible courage and vulnerability - who are bedmates. My end goal is that sharing my personal journey of growth - owning, exploring, and addressing my judgements will invites and encourages you to do the same. This seems to be a path to making the world a better place.

I've dreamt of this moment for so long and it often felt like a nightmare to risk so much - sharing myself, my authentic self, is such a risk. I've long desired to stop hedging my bets. I may just be there. I don't hedge in this book. I don't want to hedge in life. I pray that you, too, don't hedge.
