Areas addressed in coaching may include: thoughts, beliefs, habits, behaviors that impact your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being and especially the interplay between these various domains of the human experience.

Specializing in mindful, intuitive, and contemplative living, I work with you to identify your goals and together we come up with an actionable plan to help you live the life you’ve always dreamed of, and quite likely, a life that you didn’t even think was possible.

You have limitations - we all do, but more than likely you are not realizing your full potential. More than likely you have behaviors and habits that are there just because they are automatic and not because you believe they are the best for you. Coaching can help you focus, make sense of your strengths and goals.

LYHL Movement Coaching

So many injuries are preventable! So many disabilities and even deaths are preventable! Most people are not living to their fullest potential.

Studying human kinesology, movement, injury, and rehabilitation for 25 years has given me the expertise to help heal the world, but not the platform. I grew increasingly frustrated over my two decades practicing as a physical therapist due to the reactive nature of physical therapy and decided to do something about it. Offering LYHL Movement Coaching to folks worldwide allows me to optimize their health and well-being before they suffer.

In a culture that emphasizes performance and productivity over health and well-being and a healthcare system that prioritizes reactionary medicine and short-term care, I know I want to not just heal injury but prevent it. So many basic knowledge

What to expect:

Be prepared with an environment and clothing to easily view body movement.

Be prepared with your movement goals:

  • e.g run a marathon without pain

  • climb pain-free for life

  • dance with your partner

  • lift weights safely to gain muscle mass to offset the effects of aging

  • learn an appropriate stretching & mobility routine

  • learning appropriate movement habits for your body type and goals

Q: I’m interested in LYHL Movement Coaching, but I have pain. Is that okay?

A: Physical therapy may be the best option for you if you hoping the sessions with address your pain. Coaching sessions are not for pain reduction, but to prevent future pain and injury and by improving mechanics and reducing stress through your body. Dr. LYHL (Dr. Elle) also offers PT on a limited basis. You can contact her here.
